creaking bed loud sanibroyeur
The room was a bit tired. the bed creaked with every movement, i found that annoying. the bathroom felt dated. the sanibroyeur was very loud when flushed. I wasn't a fan.

the staff were very lovely and helpful. our breakfast was tasty and it kept us going until supper. i found the location really great and very quiet.
i was offered a room next to reception and kitchen or in the basement. the windows were filthy and there was a heap of rubbish in garden view.

charming stay in the west end
large room big window original features friendly staff
The room was large. it featured a big window offering a nice view. the building had original features including a wonderful staircase. i found the staff very friendly and helpful. They let me leave my bags before check-in and after check-out.
the shower was small and had only a plastic curtain.

breakfast was complete, a nice start to the day. i appreciated the coffee and tea available in the room. the hotel is close to restaurants and cafés, providing plenty of dining choices.

real glasses ground floor
the room included real glasses, not the usual plastic ones. I REQUESTED a ground floor room, and my request WAS accommodated.
The 3hr max parking IS a pain. It would be ideal if the hotel offered parking permits .

The reception staff were friendly. The room was clean. The location is near the Botanic Gardens (a great place for a morning walk!).

ample space excellent shower delicious breakfast
The family room provided ample space and suited my needs perfectly. I found the shower pressure to be excellent. The available breakfast selections proved delicious.
I noticed that the chandelier in the room used white lights, they created a slightly sterile feel.
